Advertising options have now been made available to those of you who would like to showcase your business to some of the top design talent Pittsburgh has to offer as well as their prospective clients. We currently have almost 90% of the active local design industry listed here. No other local design directory offers what we do here.

Traffic at Pittsburgh Designers continues to stay strong from our launch as we have striven to build a meaningful and helpful community around our designers. We have consistently gotten anywhere from 1800-2000 unique visitors accounting for about 4000 page views in each of the last 6+ months and also garnered top SERP placements in a number of popular Yahoo! and Google searches along with strong interest from the local non-designer community.

Pittsburgh Designers is committed to offering our designers the best opportunity to showcase their strengths to the public in an easy, highly-useful format. Now we are offering you the same.

We currently are charging $15 per month, per ad. Your advertisement will link directly to your business’s URL for all SEO benefits and will not be in an ad-rotation. It will however be shown in a random order on the sidebar along with all the other ads on the sidebar at that particular time. You will also get a permanent link on our Partners page, stating that you currently are, or once were a sponsor of our great community.

Each ad will be renewed on a monthly (maybe longer) basis, after the initial 3 month term. We only ask that your business offer something that would be useful to the types of visitors we see — creative and design oriented (Members) or local small business personnel (Clients).

Premiere Membership

We currently are charging $20 per year for this. Payments will be made through PayPal’s subscription service. The only requirement is that you are a member of the directory first. The benefits to being a Premiere Member include:

  • Prime placement within the search tool and membership lists - The search engine will show any queried Premiere Members at the top of the list before any non-Premiere Member. On the membership list page, Premiere Members will get preferred placement (example).

  • Discounts on Job Postings & other Advertising - You will be given a 20% discount when using either of those two services.

  • Other preferred placement throughout the site when we add new features.
